CGI will be providing design assist services and construction for the new Calgary Airport International Concourse (IFP). The project will incorporate sustainable design principles, creating additional space, reduce energy consumption and minimize environmental impact. The project is estimated at $1.3 billion
The focal point of performance will be a state of the art dual skin curtain wall with integrated motorized louvers, ventilating windows, and shading. These components will be integrated with the building management system to optimize the energy saving based on exterior climatic and solar radiation conditions.
All of these goals will be met with collaboration by EllisDon (Construction Manager), Dialog (Architect), and Aecom (technical support). The entire team will work together to achieve the overall design intent, meeting performance criteria as well as overall budget, ensuring complete success.
