CGI is proud to announce its affiliation with the Niagara Health and Bioscience Research Complex at Brock University in St. Catherines Ontario. This $111 million dollar project is a sophisticated facility which represents a major advancement for scientific capabilities in Canada. The Complex will include the new Centre of Innovation for Biomanufacturing, where leading researchers will advance knowledge in human health care, pharmaceutical drugs, green science and the development of value-added agricultural and horticultural crops.
CGI is working with architect aA Architects Alliance and construction manager Ellis Don Corporation on this LEED Silver certified job.
The project is a 4 story building with two bridges, consisting of 83,000 SF of Exterior Aluminum, Glass & Glazing made up of Schuco UCC65-SG metal framing system with 5” back section and specially designed integral honeycomb structured sunshades. The glass is low-e glass with custom silkscreen honeycomb pattern.
