We are very excited to be providing design assist services including the fabrication and installation of the exterior facade for the new Fortinet headquarters located in Sunnyvale, California. The tech giant, is the provider of network security devices and software and are expanding their headquarters to be a 4-storey, 172,000 sq. ft., state-of-the-art building, and is targeted to achieve LEED Gold certification. In order to manage tight deadlines, construction time has been reduced by using pre-glazed, unitized curtain wall along with a precast concrete structural system manufactured offsite. This will allow the company to move into the new building much earlier than if standard construction methods were applied. Notable features include an ACM panel, customized sunshade solutions, metal panels, and fully operable windows to harness fresh air and lessen the night time cooling loads of the building. The project broke ground in July 2019 and is expected to be completed in late 2020.
