This beautiful office tower has a distinct elliptical form, floor-to-ceiling glass designed to maximize sunlight exposure and provides panoramic views of the city and the Rocky Mountains. The design includes a winter garden, +15 walkways, one of world's most extensive pedestrian skywalk systems, and access to ground transportation including the LRT. As well the facility is home to retailers, a fitness centre, and a state-of-the-art conference centre. The building achieved LEED® Gold certification for its high-performance features including floor-to-floor triple glazing, and convex and concave glazing, all of which maximizes the natural light while minimizing the solar heat gain, as well as managing heat loss. CGI worked in a design assist capacity and used Schuco UCC-65 SSG system, with custom curved aluminum and glass façade.
